Night Shifts

   When firing in a wood kiln for 5 days, someone must be attending to the kiln at all times. Dylan and I chose the 12am-8am shifts this past week. Working those late night/ early morning shifts allowed for us to enjoy the quiet of the night and listen/ react to the kiln as necessary. It also allowed for a beautiful view of the sun rising up over the mountains each morning. Below is an early morning picture of the kiln!
